EVENT DETAILS
Dinner at Queens’ College, Cambridge
We warmly invite you to join us for an evening at Queens’ College, Cambridge, a place where history and tradition come alive. Established in 1448, Queens’ College is one of the oldest colleges at the University of Cambridge, founded by Margaret of Anjou, wife of King Henry VI, and later refounded by Queen Elizabeth Woodville. The college has a long-standing legacy of academic excellence and architectural beauty, nestled along the picturesque banks of the River Cam.
The Old Hall
The dinner will take place in the Old Hall, an iconic feature of Queens’ College. The hall dates back to the 15th century and is one of the most authentic examples of medieval architecture in Cambridge. The splendid timbered roof, stained glass windows, and antique wooden panelling create a truly majestic atmosphere, making it an ideal setting for our evening. The Old Hall has witnessed countless feasts, debates, and celebrations over the centuries, providing a sense of continuity and connection with the generations who have dined here before us.
The Old Kitchen
Prior to dinner, a reception will be held in the Old Kitchen. Once the heart of culinary activity in the college, it has now been repurposed for receptions and social gatherings. The Old Kitchen retains its historic charm, with period features that evoke its storied past as the college’s main cooking area. Guests can enjoy drinks and conversation in this intimate setting, where tradition meets the present.
Musical Program
Our CEO Yudi will perform an after-dinner piano recital for you, providing a special backdrop to the evening’s events. In keeping with tradition, live music will be played from the mezzanine, filling the Old Hall with a blend of jazz standards and classic melodies.
Post Dinner
Once dinner concludes, our DJ will set the mood with a bespoke selection of music.
